Ideal Home Show back for 104th year
Garden expert and television personality, Alan Titchmarsh, will be the ‘Ideal Gardens’ Ambassador at this year’s Ideal Home Show which runs from 16th March to 1st April at London’s Earls Court.The show will feature a variety of new and groundbreaking products and will, for the second year running, unveil a collection of six outdoor sustainable and urban garden designs produced by a range of colleges from across the UK.
The competition, supported by The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment, enables students to compete for 'Ideal Young Gardeners of the Year' judged by a celebrity judging panel led by Alan and TV gardener, David Domoney.
Other show Ambassadors include interior icon Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, TV architect and home improvements expert George Clarke and gadget expert Suzy Perry. Lorraine Kelly will be on hand to offer expert advice and live demonstrations.
The 2012 show is set to be the biggest and best Ideal Home Show to date and for the second year running will be supporting the Ideal Homes for Heroes appeal in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
For the gardener, the show will provide all you need to create your ideal garden, from window boxes to large open spaces, so whether you are a budding gardener or seasoned pro, the gardening section at the show will have something for you.

The show opens daily from 10am to 6pm (Thursday until 9pm) from 16th March to 1st April, 2012.
